The Alavi Foundation has issued a grant in support of Portland State University’s Iranian/Persian Studies Program. In a letter to Foundation President, Dr. Houshang Ahmadi, the University President acknowledged the contribution:
“To study another culture and its language is to experience a larger world. Thank you very much fo helping Portland State students to broaden their horizons in this lasting and meaningful way.”
