Hartford Seminary gets $47,000 contribution

The Hartford Seminary was awarded $47,000 by the Alavi Foundation today in support of their upcoming conference on the “State of the Study of Shi’i Islam in North America.” The contribution was made as part of the Foundation’s key core programs, which in this case included support for Scholarly Research, Interfaith Dialogue as well as Colleges & Universities.

The conference on the “State of the Study of Shi’i Islam in North America” will be held on October 8th, 2011.
