The Alavi Foundation has awarded a $240,000 grant to the Islamic Education Center of Potomac, Maryland. The contribution was intended exclusively for expenses itemized as part of a previously approved budget plan submitted to the Foundation, for 2011 to 2012.
The donation came as part of the Foundation’s support for Islamic Organizations one of the Alavi Foundation’s 9 core programs.
