Alavi Foundation approves $24,000 for Harvard University program

The Alavi Foundation approved a $24,000 grant for Harvard University. The award would be used to support a tutoring program under the University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies.

The Alavi Foundation has been giving grants to colleges and universities since 1984. These grants were made in support of Shia studies, Iranian studies and the teaching of Persian language. In the past twenty-five years, the Foundation has distributed over several millions of dollars in the form of grants to over thirty colleges and universities in North America.
