Universal Muslim Association of America receives $10,000

The Universal Muslim Association of America has been granted $10,000 by the Alavi Foundation. The contribution is intended to support UMAA’s Annual Convention, which is attended by people of different faiths throughout the country. Interfaith dialogue as well as support for Islamic Organizations comprises two of the Foundation’s nine core programs.

The Alavi Foundation is a private not-for-profit organization devoted to the promotion and support of Islamic culture and Persian language, literature and civilization.
