Ontario-based Toronto Farsi School was awarded $30,000 in grants by the Alavi Foundation. In a letter to the school’s director, Foundation president Dr. Houshang Ahmadi recognized “the vital role that Persian schools play in the teaching of Persian language and imparting Iranian culture to the children of Iranian-Canadian community.”
