The Alavi Foundation has contributed $10,000 to the Iranian Armenian Society. In a letter to the Alavi Foundation, the Society’s President thanked Dr. Ahmadi for the Foundation’s support writing in part: “The difficult economic conditions of the past few years have brought us great financial difficulties. The Alavi Foundation has always come to our aid so that we can provide a continuing link for our community to their culture and heritage. Your generosity and continued support will hopefully allow us to continue for another 60 years.”
The Alavi Foundation is a private not-for-profit organization devoted to the promotion and support of Islamic culture and Persian language, literature and civilization.
