San Diego State University received a $20,000 grant today from the Alavi Foundation. In a letter from the University’s Vice President, the Foundation’s support was appreciated:
“On behalf of San Diego State University, thank you for the recent $20,000 donation from the Alavi Foundation to support the Persian studies program in the College of Arts and Letters. We appreciate you reaching out to San Diego State to offer continued support to our programs. Your foundation’s support is providing valuable momentum for our promising students and distinguished faculty as they continue building SDSU’s legacy of excellence. We are grateful for your investment in San Diego State. Thank you for your vision and generosity.”
